Delivery

Topics

Delivery decides where the result of work goes when you are not looking at the screen. For a conversation that is unnecessary; for a schedule that runs overnight it is the difference between usable and unfindable.

Set this up as soon as you switch on your first schedule.

Setting up a delivery channel

  1. Go to Settings and then the Bezorging tab.
  2. Choose where it should go: a notification in your browser or on your phone, a message in Slack, or a call into your own system.
  3. Fill in that channel's details and save.
  4. Send a test message and confirm it arrives before relying on it.

Note

A phone notification only works if you allowed notifications in your browser; a refused permission looks, from this side, exactly like a working channel. So test it. If a delivery fails it is retried — but the result also stays in the app regardless, so no work is ever lost because a channel broke.
