Balance & limits

NORD works on balance, not a subscription. You put an amount on it and each turn costs what it actually uses. No use means no cost.

Use this page to top up, review your usage, and set a ceiling.

Setting balance and limits

1. Go to Settings and then the Tegoed & limieten tab.
2. Top up by whatever amount you want. Your current balance is also always in the top right of the app.
3. Set a daily or monthly limit if you want a ceiling. Above it NORD stops rather than continuing.
4. Switch on automatic top-up if you do not want work to stall: when your balance drops below a threshold you choose, it is topped up automatically.

How cost is calculated

Every turn is billed against the model actually used — including when NORD had to fall back to a different one mid-turn. Euro amounts use one daily European Central Bank rate, so what you see on screen and what comes off your balance agree.

Note

A limit stops goals and schedules too. If a scheduled task would breach your monthly limit it does not run, and waits until there is room again.
