11 — CONNECTIONS & PLUGINS

Connections

Connections are the services NORD is allowed to reach on your behalf. Without a connection it cannot reach them — not through a detour, and not because it happens to ask.

Use this when NORD needs to do something in a system you already use.

Connecting a service

  1. Go to Settings and then the Verbindingen tab.
  2. Pick the service and press Verbinden. You sign in to that service itself; you are not pasting keys around.
  3. After signing in you come back and the connection shows as active.
  4. To remove it, disconnect here; the access grant is deleted.

What a connection is and is not

A connection gives NORD the ability to do something. It does not give permission to actually do it — that stays with you, per action; see Approvals.

Connections are per user. You connect your account at that service, not your colleague's, and your colleague does not see your connection.

The service is not listed?

At the bottom of the page you can request an integration. That is not a waiting list for appearances: the request arrives with the service's name attached, so the order things get built in follows what is being asked for.

To get on in the meantime, an MCP server is often the shortest route — there you do not have to wait for us.

Withdrawing access again

You disconnect here, and it takes effect immediately. The access grant is deleted; NORD cannot reach it afterwards, not even from a conversation that was already running.
